Its products take may dissimilar forms – a few are illustrated below to cope with the many problems involved in protecting merchandise from shock and vibration.

Complete facilities for fabrication of polyurethane foam and other cushioning materials.
Cushioning fabrication involves a number of processes:
  • Slabbing
  • Bonding
  • Cutting
  • Die-Stamping
  • Hot-wire forming
Atlas Foam has facilities for each of these, and so can accommodate all forms of fabrication in the most used cushioning media:
  • Polyurethane Foam
  • Reticulated Polyurethane
  • Polyethylene Foam (Ethafoam)
  • Expanded Polystyrene (EPS)
  • Cross-Linked Polyethylene (L-200), (L-300)
  • Neoprene
  • Ensolite
  • Flocked Foam (Simulated Velvet)

Polyurethane Foam

This Flexible Foam can be a low-cost material with predictable performance characteristics in a temperature range of -40° to 250°F. Many densities and foam options. Recycle Ability

Polyethylene Foam

Ethafoam products offer good weight to performance ratio, energy absorbency, resiliency, recycle-ability, and can withstand a wide range of temperatures.

EPS is a low density, inexpensive packaging material consisting of polystyrene beads expanded and bonded by heat to form a semi rigid foam. Uses include packaging, insulation, construction and the entertainment industry. Recycle-Ability

Thus, cushioning can be supplied as sheet stock, in any desired size; in custom shapes, through die stamping; cavity-formed, with compartments of any shape and depth; and, in the case of polyurethane foam, in convoluted-foam pad. Atlas foam is equally at home in prototype or production-run operations, and has the facilities for both.
